Yellow

First thing we did was make a plate.

It was just a dollar store plate that I let him color then put in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Then we made paint. Half water half cornstarch and a drop of food coloring and put it in balloons.

He wasn't strong enough to throw them and pop them, so he popped them with a stick.

 It was super messy!

Next we cleaned up on the trampoline.

Later we made the redneck bubble again.

The cat and the big boy joined too.

Then he fell asleep in the bubble, too cute.

When he woke up we did a yellow box.

Somewhere over the Rainbow

Today's theme was rainbows.

We began our day by sponge painting with a pack of sponges in the shapes of cars, trucks, boats ect. that I found at the Dollar Tree (I love that store).

Then we made Jolly Rancher suckers.

Bake at 200 for 12-15 minutes or until they melt enough to roll the stick in.

 They were yummy!

Our box was colored spaghetti that had been refrigerated so it was cold and slimy.

He really enjoyed playing with the tongs.

Hoppin' with the Frogs

Today's theme was the pond.

We started out by finishing up the T-shirt.

Then we made a duck pond paper plate.

So cute!

Our sensory box had pebbles, foam lilly pads, fish, frogs, and turtles.

Next we made a tape resistant turtle.

Slime, Sun Catchers, and Sprinklers

We started our day by making sun catchers.

We put a single layer of plastic bead in a cake pan and put it in the oven on 400 for 20 minutes.

After it cooled it just popped out. Grant drilled a hole in it and I'm going to put a string in it. It was supposed to be a sun catcher and it worked but translucent beads would have worked better.

Next the boy who HATES the sprinkler played in the sprinkler when it was under the trampoline.

Then we went to Target and got some flip flops. I then shoe gooed pennies onto the bottom. Mommy will love it!

I made slime the night before. I found the recipe online.

He thought it was funny to poke because it made tooting sounds.

Then he chugged some Gatorade right before this pic and threw up in the slime right after. That then led to a nap.

Gone Fishin'

Before it got too hot we used chalk on the trampoline. It was really cool.

Our sensory box was fishing for the alphabet and numbers.

I found the fishing pole at the dollar store and hot glued a magnet on the end.

He kept saying, "I love this Borgan. It's really cool"

Then we did snap painting. I just put rubber bands around a cookie sheet with paper on it. Next I poured the paint on the rubber bands. Bo would snap them and it splattered the paint.

Update: His dad told me that he was asking about going fishing for the letters on the fridge at his house.

Arrr Matey

Today the theme was pirates!

We started with at treasure hunt. I ran a string through the house.

At the end there was a hidden treasure!

It was a giant pirate coloring book with stickers I found at the dollar store (I was very excited when I saw it).

Then we stripped down and painted our telescope.

I used a plate of red paint and a fly swatter.

When it was dry I rolled it up and taped it.

Then to remove the red paint from his belly we took a bath. I had made ice cube pirate ships. Just a tip to get the sails to stand up I taped them to the walls and boxes in the freezer.

They melted quickly but...

it was ok because then we turned the water green with Tub Tints and got different boats.

Our sensory box was black beans, beads, and some little foam blocks. To make it more piratey I added a map, an X, a boat and a pirate.

He loves finding treasures!
