Day 45

Day 45 is my favorite cartoon character.
Yep it's Scooby. My brother and I would watch him for the 18 hour drive to and from Destin, Fl. After 36 hours of the same Scooby-Doo episodes over and over I'm sure my mom was all the more excited to get to the beach.

Burning a Dandelion

I have no pictures because it went so fast, but I did burn a dandelion and it was COOL!

I have the supplies for a couple more items this week, so there will be more to come.

Day 40-44

Day 40 is my friends.
Most of these people in this picture have been my friends for the last four years.

Day 41 is my favorite weather.
Sunny, 50-60 degrees, with a slight breeze.

Day 42 is me listening to music.
Me making music, so I must be listening to it too. I'm in a concert (I used to play violin). I'm the one in red converse.

Day 43 is me celebrating.
Yea this is my version of celebrating. I don't get excited, so celebrations aren't up my alley.

Day 44 is a picture that describes my life.
With my Papa doing something the other rednecks would be jealous of. (We went to get ice cream this way).

A Pinteresty Kind of Day

He started the morning by painting with a fly swatter in his undies.

Next we played marble races on the steps.

I cut a pool noodle in half and I cut little doors in the shoe box. He played for at least 45 minutes.

I made a perfect grilled cheese for the first time in my life!

 Here's the other side.
While he was napping I made bubble dough. I used 1 cup of cornstarch. I added 1/4 cup of dish soap then kept adding until it was able to hold a shape in my hand. It is somewhat like goop, but it is moldable and breaks. It is really cool and messy.

Pudding...Lots and Lots of Pudding

Our rock candy finally worked!

Next we did something I have been looking forward to for a long time.
We put Ivory soap in the microwave for about 30 seconds, we had to take it out before it got too big to get out.

I needed a bird nest for a sensory box, so Bo ripped paper and I dipped it into the paper mache paste, and Bo told me where to put it. I coated the bowl in Vaseline to keep it from sticking. It worked great.

Bo helped me make pudding. I dipped it into dixie cups and put popsicle sticks in. After a few hours in the freezer they were delicious.

Bo then played in/ate a bathtub of pudding.

This week our box is fire. I tore up red and yellow streamers and added fire trucks.

We loved "putting out the fires".

Morgy Plays Crazy Games

I taped a hula hoop in the door way and we threw toilet paper threw it.

The after party was just as good.

I dumped out the rest of the bag of flour I had from making cloud dough. Turns out there was no need for cloud dough. He liked the flour just as well.

This was our sponge painting. I found the sponges at the dollar store last year. I find the best stuff there.

We also made daddy a present.

Everything is a Cirlce

So until I looked at the pictures I didn't notice, but everything was a circle. We played monster frisbee.
Bo is better than me at it. His throws went far and I caught quite a few of them. Mine were all over the place.

Using a peanut butter jar we made a dinosaur snow globe.
I hot glued 2 dinos to the inside of the lid. Bo added glitter and water. Next I glued the lid closed. I was done, but he thought it needed a dino on top too.

For a tasty treat we made Oreo balls.
Use a food processor to grind the Oreos. Then dump a some out into a bowl so that you can roll the balls in it. Then add cream cheese. and blend it up. I rolled them into balls and Bo rolled them in the crumbs and put them on a cookie sheet covered in wax paper. I put them in the fridge and in an hour they were ready to eat. We only made a third of a batch. A whole batch is an entire package of Oreos and an entire block of cream cheese. We got 9 and most of ours were big, so an entire batch is a ton of Oreo balls.

While I cleaned up Bo played with his box.

Bubbles and BIG Art

Early in the morning we blew bubbles.
Both the dog and the boy enjoyed popping them.

Next we did a toy wash.

I wanted a roll of paper, but couldn't find it so I taped 9 pieces together.

Foot art!

While I cleaned up he played with his pour sensory box.
It was water beads, half marbles, and ice cream spoons and bowls. I got all of it at the Dollar Tree.

For $3 he sure enjoyed it.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter

So last week I took  my senior trip. I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It was the best day of my life. I rode everything, but my favorite was the castle. They paid lots of attention to detail, which is why I didn't mind waiting in lines.
 Hogwarts

The conductor and I by the train

The dragon skeleton (see why lines are awesome)

 Outside the owlery

The Monster Book of Monsters in Dervish and Banges. It growled, blinked and moved

And my favorite, frozen Butterbeer

I found out that by next summer the park will be expanded. They are adding a Hogwart's Express that you can ride to Hogsmead. Different events will happen on the train each time, like dementors. There will be a Diagon Alley and a Gringotts ride too.

Day 31-39

Day 31 is food I made.
I can't cook, so this is as close as I could find for food I made. Yes I make chocolate frogs like Harry Potter.

Day 32 is what I did today.
I played monster frisbee with Bo.

Day 33 is somewhere I went today.
I went to Bo's house.

Day 34 is my favorite morning.
I hate mornings with a passion, but the best mornings are the ones on the the beach.

Day 35 is hometown.
Joplin, Missouri

Day 36 is my pet(s).
Elie

 Sadie

Jake (25 pounds in case you're wondering)

Dootie Head (it was Dewy, but Dootie Head is more appropriate)

TInker Bob (He was Tinker Bell until I discovered that he was actually a boy)

 Oreo (isn't he friendly)

Pee Pants

Day 37 is a picture at school.
Not my boyfriend, just a friend

Day 38 is my favorite drink.

Day 39 is my favorite food.
Peel and eat shrimp is the bomb!
