Rainy Day/Indoor Activities

Gus is such a good puppy. Bo laid on his head while watching TV and Gus didn't move until Bo got up. Gus is so patient with Bo.

This was some bathtub paint. I mixed 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with a squirt of body wash, a little water, and food coloring in each cup. It went a long way even though he spilled half of it in the tub.

Bo spent a good amount of time painting.

This was my message to him. His favorite number is 5 by the way, so it would be like telling him he's my number 1. He read it to me over and over.

I used empty 20 oz. bottles decorated with duct tape and filled with water to make a bowling game.

I played with him for half an hour then went and made lunch while he continued to play. He showed me every shape he made and every time he knocked them all down. I went back and forth a ton, but he was so proud of himself I couldn't tell him no.

He has his hands in Fluffy Stuff. I dumped in some cornstarch and mixed in shaving cream until I thought it felt good. Really scientific I know.

As always he played with the box for this week as I cleaned up.

Painting the Bo

We did some body paint to start the day.
I took a squirt of lotion then added washable paint.

He enjoyed having green toes, red fingers, and blue belly button.

Since it was Tuesday we made a yummy snack. It was Oreo Rice Crispy Treats. Take an entire pack of Oreos and grind them up in the blender or food processor. Take a whole bag of marshmallows and 4 tablespoons of butter and microwave them until they melt (1.5-2 minutes). Add the Oreos to the marshmallows and mix. Press into a pan lined with greased parchment paper. They are meant to be eaten at room temperature, but let me tell you they are like heaven warm.

I froze some water and food coloring so that he could paint.

 This was on normal paper.

This was on a paper towel. I thought the paper towel looked better because the colors were more vibrant.

Our last activity was milk carton catch. I cut off the bottom of two tea jugs and made a duct tape border on them. That was it then we played catch. Super easy and he played with me for a long time.

Rain Rain Go Away

So this was the foam pit from last year.
I bought pool noodles from the Dollar Tree and cut them up into pieces. Bo loved jumping into them.

When it started raining I got him outside as fast as I could to play in the rain.

I had some sunbrero hats in my car and he LOVED them.

We made a fire breathing dragon cup.

He continuously breathed fire on me while I made lunch.

I took the pool back outside and filled it with sand.

The box was the beach. The base was sand. I then added some cocktail umbrellas and shells.

He loved it because it was messy I think.

This was the VBS picture. From left to right. Bo is making a silly face. Grif is holding his crotch and looking away. Paxton looked at the camera and smiled. Owen looks almost like he is going to cry. Daniel is looking away. So we might as well just taken a picture of Paxton.

Day 87

Day 87 is someone that helps me with school.
My mom helps me study vocab, Spanish, proofs papers and brings food to my room when I'm too busy to eat.

Day 86

Day 86 is my favorite holiday.
I go Christmas crazy. I'm worse than Santa. Oh and that is my mom not me in that picture. I pulled it over her head and snapped a picture before she could holler at me.

Day 84 and 85

Day 84 is me and a team mate.
I'm the one with her hand on her stomach.

Day 85 is a school project.
Yes the AP psych kids make playdo brains.

Day 83

Day 83 is someone I love asleep.
Ok so that would be my brother, but he sleeps anywhere so I couldn't pick just one.

 At HIS birthday party.

 In the swing.

 On my bed.

On the tile floor while eating.

 While reading to my mom.

 Like a football player.

 In the bathtub.

 In the living room.

In the shower with cold water hitting him.

 After a karate tournament.

Before lunch at karate camp.

On the couch.

He has also slept on the asphalt driveway in the middle of summer. He fell asleep while the neighbor was serving dinner. In his plate I might add. She was concerned that he didn't like dinner and offered to make him a grilled cheese instead. We used to take a picture of him asleep with the desert at holiday family gatherings. I just don't have all of those pics on my computer, but there are a ton.
