Happy 4th!!!

We were making shirts and since last time we made them the older boys didn't seem interested I didn't get them shirts.

But Jacob came in with a white t-shirt and made this.

This was mine. I had a line across, but somebody told me I needed more fireworks.

This is Bo's. To make them I folded 3 pipe cleaners together and twisted. Then I spread the legs out. I made one for each color.

Bo had a construction  box.

He repeatedly said that it was the best box that he EVER had.

Sissy had green jello.

Ultimately she liked playing in the water more. I thought the sprinkler was a fun idea since she loves to play in the hose.

On Tuesday we made some Oreo Rice Krist

Wednesday we made marshmallow dough, but I didn't get any picture because I was feeding Sis. I'm not going to bother with a recipe because ours was a bust.

Slipin' and a Slidin'

I watched these 6 wet kiddos.
I set up the little pool for the two babies, but everybody thought it looked fun.

Then I put shaving cream on the trampoline and a sprinkler underneath.

After lunch and some play dough we put dish soap and balls on the trampoline with the sprinkler underneath again.

Finally we went slip n' sliding. Then we put the sprinkler by the swing set.

They had a blast and took an awesome nap. I did too when I got home!

Splish Splash

We headed outside Monday morning.
 The boys played soccer.

Later we went inside and made swirly stones.

Bake some clean rocks in a foil lined pan at 250 for 15 minutes.

When they come out set them on some papers.

Color on them with paperless crayons.

 Here is our lapbook.

 Beginning letter.

 Writing practice.

 Spanish colors.

Left or right?

Spanish transportation.

Counting

Bo's box is transportation.

The base is black beans and I used a transportation Toob.

Drew kept messing up the roads.

Sissy slept late, but eventually she got up and did hers too.

 It was vanilla pudding.

Tuesday we headed outside for the afternoon.

We once again played/ate the boxes.

Then it was time to hit the pool. Even Gus joined in!

Bo's favorite thing was to jump in and have me take his picture.

Then we had a snack that we had made that morning. It is sand pudding. Put a package of vanilla wafers and a couple Oreos in the blender or food processor. Then with a clean bucket layer the cookies and vanilla pudding. It is best served with a shovel.

On Wednesday we went to the park for a picnic.

Once we were done we played at 2 jungle gyms and the swings.

Oh and some rocks with water running through them.

Then this tired bunch headed home. Bo did his box and we read some books then both kids crashed.
