Summer Time

 We painted with koosh balls.

What pretty fireworks?

Next I made and he flew this paper airplane for a short while.

This week our box was the ocean.

There was water, water beads, half marbles, sea shells, and some sea animals.

We finished up with some chalk on the driveway.

Bucket List Explosions

I wore my hair differently. It was the first time in 11 years that I didn't wear a pony tail.

I already posted a new weave, but this was just too cool not to post.

This was my homework. It made a great place to grow snakes, hold smoke bombs, light black cats, and a variety of other fireworks.

 Consider homework explosion complete.

I took the car over to Bo's house and let his big brothers blow up the car. This is all we could find when we were done.

No pictures, but I did clean up playlists and create a summer playlist sort of. It is really a playlist of songs I would like to know by heart by the end of summer and they are all in Spanish.

Day 46-53

Day 46 is a photo I edited.
Yes that is my brother with a gorilla body.

Day 47 is my favorite animal.
I absolutely love horses and have since I was 8.

Day 48 is a picture of me more than 10 years ago.
This was 16 years ago I think, which means I was 2.

Day 49 is me and my best friend. Yea I don't have a best friend so...moving on.

Day 50 is me.

Day 51 is me wearing sunglasses.

Day 52 is me dressed up.
It didn't say dressed up in what. That is me the night of the last HP midnight premiere.

Day 53 is me in a car.
I think a dune buggy counts.

More Bucket List Stuff

 I made juggling balls!

My papa helped me build a car to blow up on the 4th.

For my mom's birthday I post-it noted a 47 on her car, but it was very windy.

Funny Stuff

Before the big boys woke up Bo and I made juggling balls.
I put rice into a snack sized ziplock until it felt like a good sized ball. Then I stuffed it inside a balloon and tied it. Bo cut the red balloon and I put that over the first balloon then cut off the mouth hole. Very fun for both of us. He liked throwing them on his head because it didn't hurt.

This painting was done with combs.  He wasn't that into it because his big brothers were up at that point.

He played with his box agian.

I also made Oobleck, but I don't have any pictures because I was cleaning up before Daddy came home. I just threw some cornstarch and water into a bowl. No measuring, just guesswork.

A Very Simple Way to Spend the Day

I put a piece of bubble wrap out on the driveway with the sprinkler and some shaving cream on it.

He played for a LONG time.

Next we had a paper ball fight.

I made him a fort out of the couch because I just really wanted to make a fort.

This was made by blowing on drops of paint with a straw.
He enjoyed it.

He played with the box a little more.

He made a snack necklace with gummy Life Savers, pretzels, and Fruit Loops. After that we snuggled up and watched Cars.

Simple and Loud

Early in the morning before it got hot we went outside where Bo painted the house/sidewalk/driveway/rocks/car/mulch with water.

It was super easy and entertained him for a good 30 minutes.

We went back inside and made a Chinese drum.

To make it take 2 paper plates and staple them together. Use a hole punch to make 2 holes opposite each other. Use a popsicle stick and some hot glue to make a handle. Cut 2 pieces of string long enough to reach past the center of the plates. Tie three beads on one end of each string and attach the other to the holes. Add some color for decoration and twist!

Our box this week is a garden. I found some grass in the floral section of the Dollar Tree along with some birds.
The nest is the one that Bo made last week as a craft.

Everything else is left over from last year. The bugs were from me when I was little, the flowers were from the dollar store, and the watering can came from there too.

Bo really liked the birds.
