Day 79 is me in the dark.
This was me working on my igloo at about 11 at night.

Simple and Cheap

For the final day of the dirt pool we turned it into a mud pool. He loved it even more than the dirt.

Gus found a giant stick for me to play fetch with him with while Bo played in the mud.

Then he got a drink in the pool.

I love Gus.

We went in and Bo painted with water on a black piece of paper, while I made Mac and Cheese.

I made three rotocopters out of a paper we colored last week. I just Googled some instructions.

He thought that they were awesome.

He played with his dinosaur box for the final time this week too.

Yummy Treat and "Getting Clean"

Early in the morning we went on a dino dig in the dirt pool form yesterday.

To get clean I put soap and water on the trampoline.

What an awesome way to take a bubble bath!

We then made some s'mores bars. Line the pan with graham crackers. Spread chocolate chip cookie dough over that and cook for 8 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from the oven and add some broken up Hershey's bars. Cover the top in mini marshmallows and cook until they are brown.

Bo painted with some cookie cutters.

It turned out better than I thought it would.

As always Bo played with his box as I cleaned up.

At VBS I told the boys to touch the wall. It looks like they are in prison and about to get searched. Funny boys.

Lots of Dirt

I bought 2 gallons of dirt for $2 at Walmart and dumped them into the kiddie pool. I added some bowls and scoops. It played for an hour and then I dragged him in.

We made a wind sock. He colored and tore the streamers. Very easy, summery craft.

 This week's box was dinosaurs.

I used some dirt, aquarium plants, aquarium cave, and dollar store dinos.

He loved the dinos.

We also played karate.

I'm working VBS this week and I got all of these 2-3 year old boys to sit still for an hour and a half and two babies to sleep. I felt like Mary Poppins.

Slipin' and Slidin' Sort of

We went to the park early in the morning before the heat and played monster frisbee.
Bo can throw that giant frisbee like nobody's business.

Next we colored on the windows with dry erase markers.

I took Bo outside to slip n slide with some shaving cream.

Jacob joined in to and since Bo didn't understand how to slip n slide his good big brother helped him out.

Then Drew got back from kayaking and joined in too.

I just loved Bo's face in this one.

This is what Bo spent most of his time doing.

Drew also covered himself in shaving cream with Jacob's assistance.

Bo's box was candy themed. I dumped a bag of pom poms in and added some ice cream bowls and spoons from the dollar store.

He loved it.

FYI I found the slip n slide at Target in the very back in the clearance stuff for $3.35.

Another Item to Mark Off my Bucket List

I made a pair of moccasins last week. They are much too big for me, but I wear them anyways.

Day 68-76

Day 68 is me falling.

Day 69 is me outside.

Day 70 is a crazy night out.
"Crazy" New Year's Eve with my dad and stepmom.

Day 71 is someone I don't go a day without talking to.
My bubba

Day 72 is me with the people I work with.
Yep 4 days a week with this kid.

Day 73 is me with unbelievable scenery.
Ok that is the best I could find.

Day 74 is me somewhere warm.
The beach!

Day 75 is a picture of me taken professionally.

Day 76 is me receiving a reward.
I got a Good Citizen Award every year in elementary school.

More Bucket List Item

I went to the park and had a picnic, so 2 items in one shot.

Simple Easy Fun

We went to the park and played some soccer.

Then I put some shaving cream in the pool.

Next he colored a paper that I will later use to make a rotocopter. Finally he played with his box.

National Sugar Cookie Day

I created an obstacle course for Bo.

He was really proud of that summersault.

While I made lunch he played with some shaving cream.

Tuesday was national sugar cookie day. We just made normal sugar cookies and split up the dough into three bowls. Bo added some food coloring and we pulled chunks off and made them into a roll. I did it on wax paper so that it was easier to make into a roll. Then it is just slice and bake.

I taped some markers onto the front of the trucks.

It was the best way to color I was told.

As always he played with his box as I cleaned up.
