Triplets

I got the redneck bubble out from last summer.
It is just a plastic drop cloth folded in half and taped except for a person sized hole and a fan sized hole.

 Everybody got in...even Gus.

Bo painted with shaving cream. I put shaving cream on the plastic tray and dots of paint on the cream.

Once Bo was done smearing it around I place a paper on top of it to capture the colors.

Every time I come over Jacob wears an outfit as close as possible to mine. Today he wanted Bo dressed like us too, so we all wore red hats, red shirts, black shorts, and a watch on our left arms.

We didn't get to our messy activity today because was raining, so Bo played with the space box instead.

The Wire Store in Africa?

We played trains early in the morning.

This is a recap of the conversation we had a few seconds before the video. I have no idea where he comes up with this stuff.

He painted an egg carton caterpillar.

While he was napping I added legs and eyes.

I put the spaghetti from yesterday into the pool with some water and this time he loved it.

Even Jacob played.

He played with the space box while I cleaned up the days mess.

Rock Candy in Outer Space

We started our morning by making some rock candy (which I checked today and there was nothing on the strings so apparently you need to use more than 2 parts sugar for every 1 part water).
He pour in the sugar and the water and mixed it all up. Next I turned on the heat and added more sugar and stirred until it was a rolling boil.

Finally I ladled it into jars and added the strings. Bo put in some food coloring and I set them in the window. I'm going to try and add more sugar and reheat it tomorrow to see if it will work.

Next we played Legos. Bo just connected all the cars. I built a big tower, which he later played with.
 My humongous tower.

Bo is looking for more car Legos.

Every day we read for 15 or so minutes before nap time.
 Gus decided to join us.

 My lap was full!

Poor Gus was sleepy too.

After swim lessons Bo painted with marbles.
I put a piece of paper, paint, and marbles on a plastic tray. Next I covered it in plastic wrap and taped it down.
Then Bo shook until his little heart was content.

Before he woke up in the morning I cooked some spaghetti, put it in a plastic bag, added some olive oil and red food coloring, and stuck it in the fridge.
I later dumped it in the pool. He hated it. He was dry heaving. So that didn't last long.

The sensory box this week was a space box. The base was cloud dough (1part baby or vegetable oil for every 8 parts flour). I found a space Toob at JoAnne's and used my 50% off coupon.

Bo's favorite part was the rover.

Day 27-30

I know that I am way behind on my blog, but I rode in the car for 20 hours straight, was at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for a day, spent another hour or so in the car, spent the afternoon on the beach, then another hour in the car, only to arrive back the hotel, shower, pack and get back into the car to ride for another 20 hours straight. So to say the least I was busy this weekend.

Anyways day 27 is my favorite night.
Basically any night that I get to spend at the beach is my favorite.

Day 28 is my favorite place in the world.
The beach of course. I really like going to Destin because I have gone there since I was a baby.

Day 29 is picture that can always make me smile.
I always giggle at this picture because Bo couldn't have made a better Sheldon Cooper face if he tried.

Day 30 is my favorite quote.
I know I know I know, of course I chose a Harry Potter quote.

Day 26

Day 26 is something that means a lot to me.
That would be my brown belt. I worked my tail off for it. I had to deal with 5 years and counting of pain in both knees while still training.  I didn't work that hard to get my diploma nor am I as proud of it.

Day 25

Day 25 is a picture of me from last year.
This was taken at my favorite restaurant in the world, McGuire's Irish Pub in Destin, Florida.

Chances are I won't be posting anything the rest of the week because I am doing something on my summer bucket list. I'm headed to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It was my graduation gift from my dad and stepmom. I'm pumped to say the least.

Day 22-24

Day 22 is something I never leave the house without.
I never leave without an extra pony tail holder. For at least the last 6 years my friends have pulled out or at least tried to pull out my hair, so now I keep an extra with me in case they catch me by surprise.

Day 23 is my favorite book.
Who would have guess?

Day 24 is someone I miss.
I miss Uncle Orville. He had a heart attack when I was in third grade. He was an amazing cook and a wonderful person. He made the best chicken and dumplings in the world. My mom says that she has his recipe, but they aren't the same. I remember singing "You are my Sunshine" with him in the kitchen and singing along with his fish, which now hangs on my wall and sings. He was fun to play with. I wish that the doctors wouldn't have put him in the hot tub to "cure" his Staff infection, so that I could remember more of him without a wheel chair or just more of him period.
