Popsicles for Everyone!

This week was a two day week. We had a garden theme.

Here is the lapbook. It doesn't look the best, but I put it together between 1 and 2 am.

The "seed" packets got sorted into the rectangles on the folder.

I would hide the shovel under a number and Bo would say the number in Spanish and lift up the card to find the shovel.

Bo had some trouble with this, but it is matching up the words that rhyme.

Our Spanish for the week was emotions. I picked out bugs and helped him match the bug with the Spanish word for its emotion.

These are the tracing things we always have.

Here is the box. The base is dirt. I added bugs and creatures that I had from when my brother was little. The flowers came from the Dollar Tree a couple years ago as did the water can and bird. I found the bird house in my garage sale stuff. The little pot came from the Dollar Tree with the one's I used for the clay pot shark.

Each week I fill a bucket with toys from my house for each kid.

Bo really likes it, even if he has the same toys in his bedroom. For some reason it is more fun to play with mine.

Bo and I made Kool-Aid popsicles. I got the popsicle maker at the Dollar Tree (big surprise, I know).

We blew bubbles, jumped on the trampoline, and drew with chalk.

Sissy had a water box with some cups and a spoon.

Bo really liked his.

Sis would drink the water then look at me and grin.

Then Bo started not feeling well, so I did the logical thing and made a blanket fort in the living room and turned on the Spongebob Movie.

The next day he felt better and was back to playing with his box.

Sis was very into dumping the water into the pool.

Bo and Gus went for a swim.

Sis drank the water she splashed out of her box. I eventually filled her pool up so she could splash.

After swimming both kids ate the half a popsicle they didn't finish yesterday.

I had one and so did Gus, so that we could be done with popsicles.

We attempted to do Frankenworms. Obviously it didn't work, but it was fine with Bo because I made a big explosion.
